"Fucilazione nel campo di Auschwitz" (Shooting in the Aushwitz concentration camp) 100 x 110 cm. Oil on board 6 mm.	….taken from the basements to the bathrooms of the ground floor, the prisoners, condemned to shooting had to nude themselves and wait for the moment of death. Until all of 1942, the SS tied the wrists with barbed wire. The people were assassinated two or three at a time, hitting them on the back of the neck in front of the wall of death. Brighenti translates the reflection of his moods relating to the pictorial sentiment, that transforms all with the miracle of creativity. Son morto ch'ero bambino, son morto con altri cento, passato per un camino, e ora, sono nel vento e ora, sono nel vento. Ad Auschwitz c'era la neve e il fumo saliva lento, nei campi tante persone che ora sono nel vento.	Nei campi tante persone, ma un solo grande silenzio è strano, non ho imparato a sorridere qui nel vento. Io chiedo, come può un uomo uccidere un suo fratello eppure, siamo a milioni in polvere qui nel vento. Ancora, tuona il cannone	ancora, non è contenta di sangue la bestia umana e ancora, ci porta il vento. Io chiedo, quando sarà che l'uomo potrà imparare a vivere senza ammazzare e il vento si poserà. These works, representative of one of the darkest moments of the twentieth century, very heart-felt and therefore created by the artist with not little suffering, have as an only aim that of not letting the new generations forget this page of history that we all tend to remove from our consciences, to avoid that such weighty events could be repeated in the future.
